Shall We Dance? III

“Jeez, you know what Larxene's going to say when she hears about this?!” Axel sighed, running a hand through his hair before looking back at the letter. “God...”

Roxas sighed irritably “What do you want me to say Axel? I’m sorry I decided to fill in for Larxene?” He asked quickly. It was obvious he was taking this whole thing the wrong way. “Do you want me to say that you should have waited for her despite her coming in halfway through the dance?”

“No...I,” Axel sighed. “Never mind. I don't know what I'm saying. I don't want you to say stuff like that.” he folded up the letter. “C'mon, lets get back to your house, Blondie.” He smiled returning his hand on Roxas's shoulders.

Sighing yet again, Roxas just nodded and followed next to Axel. “This whole thing just turned into chaos.” He absently whispered under his breath

“Ya think?” Axel chuckled quietly and, in a teasing tone, added “While we're there I'll treat you to something. It’s the least I can do since you're dressing up so prettily for me.”

“Sh-shut up!” A deep blush stained his cheeks, and he stumbled over his own words as they got to his door. Axel laughed at the blond boy. “Roxy's blushing.”

Roxas tried to ignore him and looked away from Axel as he searched his bag for his keys “Ah, where are they?” He mumbled, forgetting he left them in his back pocket, his lanyard sticking out of the small pouch.

When he noticed him fumbling through his bag for his keys he chuckled and let go of the blond's shoulders to come up behind him and throw his arms around his neck, his chin resting on his head and a grin spreading across his face. “Looks like you're stuck with little old me then. I get Roxy all to myself.”

Roxas sighed, feeling the others arms wrap around him. “Listen Ax, I’m serious. If I lost those keys my parents are going to have to change the locks.” He checked his front pockets, nothing. He rummaged through the small pockets in his messenger bag. Again nothing.

Axel grinned then. “Don't worry so much Rox. I know exactly where you stuck 'em.” replied Axel with a grin reaching down and groping Roxas. “Right here~.” He said leaning over next to his ear with a grin.

The blond quickly covered his mouth, a small squeak escaping from his lips. “Th-thanks” He snagged the keys, focusing on the ground as he fiddled with the keys in his hand for a moment. He then unlocked the door “So I uhm…guess I’ll see you tomorrow?” He asked, a red tint still on his cheeks.

Axel smirked at the blond eying the faint blush still there. “No prob Rox.” he grinned. At his next question Axel nodded and turned to leave giving him a short wave. “Yup! See you.” He gave a wink before turning to head back down the sidewalk with a grin.

“See ya,” Roxas looked back at him, walking inside. He shut the door behind him and sighed, leaning against the door. “Ugh Rox…what’d you get yourself into!” He groaned and slid to the floor. He loved Axel, that wasn’t hard to see. But he was going to be stuck in Las Vegas with him…Reno…and on top of that: Larxene. “And I have to be in drag for god knows how long…” he groaned.

Grinning, Axel returned back to his house, quite satisfied with himself. After closing the door he eyed Reno on the couch and walked over sitting next to him. “Soooooooooooo,” Reno started. “What was in the letter?”

“Here.” Axel replied handing it over to him.

Reno looked over the letter before breaking into hysterics. “Oh my god!” he wheezed through his laughter. “You're not kidding me, right?”

Axel rolled his eyes. “Yeah, all true there.”

“I am so coming with you.” he grinned. “Besides, Las Vegas will be a trip of a lifetime for us.” He threw an arm around his brother. “It'll be one of those ‘I can show you the world’ moments!,” he grinned waving his arm to the side.

“You fell on your head as a kid, I know you did.” Axel’s tone showed his lack of amusement, “And Mom shoved too much Disney into you...” Reno just smirked.

Axel sighed and unlatched himself from Reno. “If you need me I'll be sleeping.” he sighed.

Reno gave him a look. “At 3:30 in the afternoon?”

“Nap, idiot.” He replied before heading up.
